The McLoughlin Gallery - San Francisco, March 1 to March 31., 2018.
Reflections, an examination of memory in steel, canvas and tar.

Emad’s work is a dialogue in open spaces inviting the viewer into the conversation.  This exhibition is the first in the series examining the reliability of memory and stability.  Presented for the viewer is a body of work challenging notions of memory and perception. The interplay of light, shadows, and strong geometric form creates a language of self expression.  While a thematic departure from the
artist’s recent works in public collections around the world, the style and form of Emad’s new works remains immediately identifiable; strong works with a sense of fragility to them.
